i thought i'd post a few recent instant pictures while i sort out the mess of film i've accumulated within the last month or so. the universe has been especially kind to me lately and i feel a lot better now. i can't wait to show all of you the new things i've been working on!

it's been really beautiful where i live lately. here are a few self portraits i shot with my polaroid spectra on may second and april twenty-fifth, respectively:

 i've tried taking this picture twice on two separate days, and neither came out exactly how i wanted; but they make me happy all the same:

 i'm sorry i haven't posted in a while. i've been really busy trying to keep up with all my classes and my free time is just evaporating. however, i'm getting three rolls of film back soon, so expect a massive update to this blog really soon. i also have an essay that i wrote for my english class, and i might post that if anyone wants to read it.

my friend bailey came over to my house on january sixteenth to model for some pictures. initially, i had been planning on doing a completely different sort of 1950s shoot with a borrowed bunny rabbit, but things didn't work out and the borrowing got canceled at the last minute, so i had to kind of throw this idea together when bailey arrived. other than wishing some of them were in better focus, i'm actually pretty happy with how these turned out overall.

chris lives in california and he plays music and jessee lives in chicago and she plays music and sometimes they play music in the same place together and it's called paper st. they came over to my house on christmas eve and i took pictures of them for an album they might be releasing. here are some of my favorites from the shoot:








 fun fact: the only articles of clothing that didn't come out of my closet are chris's jeans and jessee's pin.
