from a picture walk with jonathan on the ninth of march:
i've been wanting to explore inside this abandoned house for so long, but i haven't been able to find a way in yet.
jonathan is planting a native garden in his frontyard, so he collected different species inside little cups in his backpack as we went along.
we found this centipede hiding underneath a rock.
and we found this shattered mirror in a forest.
jonathan took this picture for me. right afterwards, the billygoat dug his horns into my ribcage and then tried to charge us. we ran from him and hid in the olive trees until he went away. i don't think i've ever been so scared in my life.

my birthday fell on a sunday this year. i celebrated at the bidwell's with just a few good friends and neutral milk hotel.
